Biography

With over nine years of teaching experience, including six years post-qualification and three years pre-qualification, I have honed my ability to guide students of various learning abilities through the complexities of Physics at different levels, including O'level, IGCSE, AS, and A-level. My teaching approach is diverse and adaptive, incorporating methods such as experiential learning, inquiry-based learning, and the use of thought-provoking questions to deeply engage my students. Beyond the classroom, I am an active examiner for various examination bodies, which enhances my understanding of the academic requirements and expectations in Physics education.

My dedication to teaching has yielded remarkable results, as evidenced by the success of my students in Cambridge A-level Physics examinations. For instance, between 75% and 92% of my students achieved grades ranging from C to A* in the 2019, 2021, and 2022 series. Specifically, in the October/November 2021 series, my students achieved impressive results with 6A*, 6As, and 21Bs, and in the October/November 2022 series, they scored 1A*, 10A, and 7B. These achievements are a testament to my hard work and the effective teaching strategies I employ, which I am confident can be replicated and even enhanced in your school. As a 21st-century educator, my goal is not just to teach Physics, but to inspire intellectual curiosity and critical thinking in my students, equipping them with lifelong skills to navigate their futures successfully.
